Amuerte is a gin brand founded in Belgium by two descendants of master distillers.
Amuerte gins are all made with a botanical base of coca leaves from Peru, where even today the Wiwa tribe uses coca leaves as a medicine, with the addition of other ingredients sought after among the best in the world during travel of the owners of the brand.
Amuerte White is a gin made with Peruvian coca leaves, the main ingredient of every Amuerte recipe, enriched with organic finger lime from the Circeo Natural Park in Sabaudia (a thumb-sized citrus fruit), cardamom, coriander and Sichuan pepper.
Gin Amuerte White on the nose recalls the freshness and softness of tropical fruits and oriental spices with a beautiful balsamic note. On the palate it is confirmed as on the palate, seductive and mature, with a delicate spiciness to end in a vegetal finish of aromatic herbs.
The Peruvian coca leaves, during the distillation phase, lose their active principle.
