Rosso di Montalcino di Poggio di Sotto is a small Brunello, coming from one of the best areas of Montalcino and from a producer at the top of Tuscan and Italian winemaking for years. Produced with Sangiovese grapes only, it expresses on the nose great aromas of red fruit, currant and raspberry above all and continues with floral and toasted notes and hints of vanilla and cocoa. On the palate it is powerful and warm, with a dense and velvety tannic texture and a savory and very persistent sip. Perfect in combination with game dishes or aged cheeses.
