Valgella is one of the sub-areas of Valtellina that is capable of producing exceptional wines, such as Sandro Fay's Carteria.

This red wine is a pure Nebbiolo, after a slightly late harvest it is vinified and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.

The olfactory spectrum is of great elegance, with fruity and floral notes accompanied by spicy and toasted hints. On the palate it is a warm, enveloping wine with great structure, with a long and savory finish.
