Champagne Cristal 2002 75 cl Louis Roederer with casket
Louis RoedererChampagne Cristal 2002 Louis Roederer, the best of the company, a noble, lively wine, with undisputed elegance and an icon of luxury! Created from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes that after spending 6 years on the lees reveals itself in all its preciousness and delights us with its extreme refinement, lively bubbles and the sweetness of its aromas.
Cristal brut is the most loved AOC Champagne since the times of Tsar Alexander II, who asked Louis Roederer to create the best Champagne for him, reserving him the best cuvees every year. The name "Cristal", not surprisingly, derives from the material with which the special crystal bottle was created, to enhance its exclusivity, transparency and brilliance.
The grapes used to create this precious nectar are 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay.
The Cristal spends 6 years of maturation on the lees and, after dégorgement (disgorgement), it rests in the cellar for another 8 months. The dosage is 7.5 g / l.
In the glass it reveals a golden yellow color, with bright reflections. The bubbles are as fine as they are powerful and lively. On the nose it is rich in fruity and acidic aromas of candied citrus fruits and notes of white flowers, toasted hazelnut and vanilla. In the mouth it is inviting, ripe and enveloping, with a chalky freshness, it is released with all its elegance and nobility, closing with a long and concentrated finish.
Cristal is a Champagne of extreme elegance and refinement. Subtle and mature, it boasts exceptional balance. Its power, combined with finesse, allows you to combine it wonderfully with the most delicate and refined dishes.
