Barolo "Ravera" 2018 75 cl Vietti
ViettiRavera is the most important vineyard in the municipality of Novello, located on a splendid hill with south-west exposure which gives life to Baroli of depth and character, to wait a few years; Vietti has been producing wine here for several years and is a point of reference in the area.
The vinification is very long, about 5 weeks and takes place in steel tanks; it then passes into large barrels for a slow malolactic fermentation that lasts until spring. The wine therefore remains more than a year on the lees of the malolactic and co2 fermentation in a reductive environment without sulfur dioxide. Finally, the Barolo remains to refine for about 32 months in large oak barrels until bottling which takes place without filtration.
Barolo Ravera Vietti is a red wine that deserves all your attention. Pure and elegant Barolo, the nose is a traditional wine, which requires some time before it opens up in all its magnificence. On the palate it is almost aggressive, with thick tannins and a strong acidity that require decanting for a few hours but ensure a bright future for this bottle.
Give it to your child for the first job contract, he will still be able to drink it when he retires
